The famous rap music star Missy Eliott(left) and her mother (not shown) were seated beside us (my wife is next to me) at the Notable 2006 induction ceremony in Portsmouth, VA. "Missy" and I were both born in Portsmouth. Read about the event. Much sympathy to the family of my fellow notable, Ruth Brown, the key note speaker at the May 2006 notable event, who passed away.
